Within the scope of the Tax Procedure Law No. 213 and the General Communiqué on the Tax Procedure Law No. 509, the Revenue Administration made it mandatory to apply the e-Foreign Exchange Purchase-Sale Certificate as of January 1, 2022 for the authorized institutions engaged in foreign exchange buying and selling activities. As of the specified date, foreign currency purchase and foreign currency sales documents will be issued as "e-Currency Purchase Document" and "e-Currency Sales Document".
The e-Currency Purchase and Sale Document is not a new type of document, but has the same legal qualifications as the "Currency Purchase" and "Currency Sale" documents in paper form.
